Pupils help build Stressless recliners for charity

All 7th grade pupils in Sykkylven are invited to a special viewing of the Ekornes factory, to see how the Stressless recliner and reclining sofa are produced.

Ekornes has become a popular company to visit, and we keep getting requests from both local and regional schools for children of all ages to come and visit the Stressless factory at Ikornnes.  Since there is a lower age limit of 12 years for factory visits, we are now inviting all 7th grade pupils in Sykkylven to a visit during the school year.

In order to make the factory visit extra interesting, Ekornes is encouraging the pupils to select a local organization to support.  During the visit they get to build their own Stressless recliner, which is later donated to the charity of their choice.  In this way, the visit becomes educational, inspiring and socially responsible.
